MYA PETITE
Posted on March 16, 2012 | No CommentsI don't have a Petite, but a couple Mya QT's. Honestly, they are my daily smokers, due to the ease of set up, portability and ease of cleanup. I especially like the fact you can take apart the stem and downstem and put them in a big pan for a boiling w... -
Regal Hookah
Posted on March 11, 2012 | No Comments---Quote (Originally by Sisonpyh)--- Yeah but if the hose was good to begin with this wouldn't be a problem! He should really sell the hookah without a hose for less money, would save everyone time (and money in this case...). Happy he will back it up if it does break though. Would definitely be way more pissed if I didn't have other hoses to use. The more I think about it, for the money on the hookah + a new hose its almost not worth it, for that cash you can get a top of the line Elmas and be done with it (and get a nice/rare hose on top of it)! If he sells it without the hose for less cash definitely a good buy, hopefully this is resolved soon :hookahsmiley:. Love the hookah though, still haven't touched my KM's since I received it. ---End Quote--- You're exactly right. And when I began to point out to Jonathan, in private correspondence about the hose issues, I was met with great resistance. I was told they were designed with purposes, etc. I continued to point out that that may be so, but the fact remained the design missed the mark! That wasn't received very well. Hence, why I believe I've continued to be treated with an icy reception. I wouldn't be pissed at all if it all had been handled professionally from the beginning. But it hasn't been, imo. I wouldn't have taken all of my complaints public either. Ever time I think progress is being made something else occurs that leads me to believe otherwise. Let's see... I've spent $215 (for a stem, with a base that I'm going to have to either scrape clean of paint, or spend more money on to paint!) and then $33 on new hoses = $248 total (plus shipping) Um.... Yeah. -

KM Amer, World Cup, and Trimetal
Posted on February 29, 2012 | No Comments---Quote (Originally by Tye Dye Jim)--- That's one thing you have to accept with KM's, they're handmade so they not exactly perfect.I have a 42" Tri-metal and absolutely love it warts & all. ---End Quote--- I haven't had a hard time excepting the small blemishes on my KM, they are all quite nice aside from a few small flaws. -

King Of Hookah Junior.
Posted on February 21, 2012 | No CommentsI am using this brand for four years. I am very satisfied with the quality compared to the price i bought it. The size of the hookah is 18'' All the parts are detachable, so it is easy for maintenance and to carry it in a case. That hookah costed me about 45 euro in Greece. (about 60 dollars). The box contains a pair of pliers, a brush for washing the vase and extra grommets. Image: http://www.kingofhookah.com/assets/Image/Product/detailsbig/PP079_1.jpg _*VASE *_The vase is made of glass. It needs to be careful not to wash it with very hot water, It may crack. The vase has thread on the top, so the stem is screwed on it. Much better way from the clip on stems. The air sealant is better and it is safer to carry the hookah from the stem, it is impossible the stem to clip off the vase accidentally. The only disadvantage is the colour of the vase. Seems after 4 years to discolour in some areas. *Points: 9/10* *_STEM_* The stem is made of aluminium 5056. The advantage is that this material never rust and it is lightweight. The tube is detachable and it has the ability to apply 2 hoses. The paint on this seems to be good quality. *Points: 10/10* _*TRAY*_ The tray is made of aluminium too. I do not know the type. The paint seems to resist the high heat of the coals dropping on it. *Points: **10/10* _*BOWL*_ It comes with a Mod Hookah Bowl. It has wide surface area, so there is a lot room for the heat to spread out to heat more tobacco more gently. Additionally, as with a shallower bowl, the shisha at the bottom of the bowl is more accessible to the heat for even and complete smoking of the entire bowl’s worth of shisha. I replaced it after an accident i had and broke it, with a Tea Cup Hookah Bowl. It has the same specs but it is a little smaller. *Points: **9/10* _*HOSE *_It comes with a 60'' hose made of aluminium and plastic. It seems well built. The design is like the Syrian hoses As i know it is washable. I believe that we can find better hoses for this hookah. But it does its job ok. POINT *Points: **7/10* Generally i recommend that brand name because it is a best buy for middle budgets. The quality is very good and if we maintain it after every use, it can last for many many years.
